The Wadi Qanuna Dam, situated in the Makkah province, boasts an impressive water capacity of 79.2 million cubic meters, making it one of the largest dams in the Kingdom. This mammoth structure stretches 326 meters in length and reaches a towering height of 70 meters. Additionally, it houses a water purification facility capable of producing 18,000 cubic meters of clean water daily. This treated water is then distributed to the areas in need.
Nestled within the scenic Qanuna Valley, renowned for its natural beauty, the dam ensures a continuous flow of water throughout the year. Alongside its banks, you’ll discover thriving farms, lush palm trees, and verdant vegetation. This picturesque locale is a favorite among tourists, especially during the winter months. Al-Ardyat, situated in the Makkah region, is a governorate located in the southern region, nestled between Al-Baha and Asir within the Tihama area.
